On the plus side, they serve very good vegetarian meals on their transcontinental flights, have a decent movie selection, and a very responsive customer service center. The big downer with BA is even though they are a part of the oneworld Alliance with nine other airlines, they will not allow flights from the US to another country to count towards frequent flier miles with another carrier. In my case, I wanted my flights on BA to carry over to American Airlines (a oneworld member). Nope, sorry! says a BA representative. The little flights you take within another country besides the US counts, which I could really care less about. :/ Another note-- if you are connecting in Heathrow, plan for at least 1 hour to get to your connecting flight. Heathrow is prone to weather delays-- I got stuck there for about 8 hours due to an ice storm."
